Within North America Atlanta, GA, Portland, OR and Victoria, BC have been noted as prime destinations, especially given their favourable tax climates and moderately priced real estate. The country is quite favourable to ex-patriots, has reasonable real estate prices, no income tax, and a moderately warm climate.
